2008-03-19 11:32:57 Discussion about the overall site. —169.237.66.50
2008-03-19 11:43:31 Random question: are we happy with the overall appearance of the site? I never thought about it til now, because I was just thinking of it as a throwaway site for the workshop. Since its sticking around, we can change things if we want, its all just CSS. —BobThomson

also, we can upload a logo into the title bar to replace 'Bodega Phylogenetics Workshop' if we want. —BobThomson
2008-03-19 12:03:55 Getting better. The mix of large and small formatted images looks weird on my monitor: that's why I've changed them to all be the same size (they should appear as a single row of images for anyone viewing the page at a standard width ~700 pixels). I'll get to work on wikifying my tutorials. —128.151.242.150
2008-03-19 12:06:18 I'm going to suggest that we arrange things by "topics" rather than "tutorials." For example, the structure tutorials would fall under the topic of population/species delimitation. Similarly, my Mesquite tutorials will fall under the topic of comparative methods. —128.151.242.150

good idea, this is fine with me. —BobThomson

I figure we give it a a few days more, I've noticed that a few instructors have still been uploading things. Maybe just change it when we email the whole instructor list about the new organization —BobThomson
2008-03-19 12:52:00 I've tweaked a few more things and tried to move us closer to a topics based organizational structure. Right now, most of the topics pages just link to existing pages from the 2008 iteration of the workshop. Hopefully we can prepare stand alone documents as time permits. —glor
